- Hired world-class writing team and developed end-to-end content workflow for the brand that practically invented blogging.
- Secured #1 organic search ranking for “wordpress hosting.”
- Increased share of voice in organic search for “wordpress hosting” by 111% in 12 months.
- Increased share of voice in organic search for “website builder” by 367% in 12 months.
- Increased domain-wide AI platform visibility 157% between Sept. 2025 and Dec. 2025.
CoSchedule (Dec. 2015 – Dec. 2021)
- Developed and executed content strategy that increased organic search visits 619% over five years.
- Grew email list from 50,000 to 800,000+ subscribers via gated content and free tools.
- Hosted the Actionable Marketing Podcast (averaging 1,100 downloads per episode).
- Developed and implemented efficient content workflows that allowed us to publish 10 to 12 high-quality 3,000+ word articles per month with a freelance budget of $0.
- After three years (mostly) solo in the trenches, built freelance writing team to scale success.
- Promoted four times in six years (Content Marketer > Blog Manager > Content Marketing Lead > Inbound Marketing Director).
Sundog Interactive (April 2014 – Nov. 2015)
- Worked on all things content (website content, landing page copy, social media posts, PPC ads, video scripts, and more) for the iconic equipment manufacturer Bobcat Company.
- Started attending client meetings after six months on the job, beating expected nine-to-12 month readiness timeframe.
RealTruck.com (April 2012 – April 2014)
- Collaborated with world-class agency Portent to execute SEO strategy that won Best SEO Campaign at the 2014 U.S. Search Awards. This was the crash-course that kickstarted my career.
